SAGINAW, Mich. – The Michigan Tech women’s basketball team got back on track Thursday night with a 68-57 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference win at Saginaw Valley State. The Huskies trailed 13-9 through 10 minutes, but combined to outscore the Cardinals in the second and third periods by 15 points to end a three-game losing skid.

Cassidy Trotter and Ellie Mackey each had 15 points to pace Tech.

Elizabeth Kelleher had 13 points and 12 rebounds and Abby Botz had 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Tech’s men won for the third straight game, beating Saginaw 61-56.

Bryan Heath and Owen White had 11 points apiece for Tech while Dawson Bilski of North Central had eight points.
