A modified stock car driven by Bob Iverson was placed in front of Anderson Funeral Home Wednesday as mourners filed in for services for the fabled “Hyde Hustler.” Iverson, a member of the U.P. Sports Hall of Fame and the Michigan Motor Sports Hall of Fame, died Saturday. Checking out the car is Fuzzy Collins, who with Iverson helped build the race car in 1970 and helped in Iverson’s pit for 50 years.
