Questions about COVID-19 reporting
EDITOR:
The incidence of COVID-19 in Delta County in now up 300% since mid-February. Why do I have to go to the New York Times to get an accurate picture of the pandemic in our community? See https://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2021/us/delta-michigan-covid-cases.html Why hasn’t the Daily Press regularly reported the findings of local contact tracing efforts so we know where the hot spots of community spread in Delta County are? Delta County already has the dubious distinction of the highest death rate from COVID in the U.P. Why isn’t the Daily Press doing more to ensure we minimize further death and suffering in our community?
