Responsibility or not?
I recently came about a true story involving a young 4 year old named Lexi. It was the first day of pre-school. Mom and dad took their noon hour off to take Lexi to her school. As they pulled up into the school parking lot ,she looked at her parents and said:
You can wait here and I will go into the school and when school is over I will come out and we will go home. It was time for Lexi to show a little personal independent responsibility.
The point of it all is the question- — did Lexi’s parents do their part by teaching her responsibility? Perhaps something for us all to be concerned about. After all, that’s one reason we are called parents. Thank you for your time.
