Thank you for Honor Flight

This week’s bouquets go to:

From Rick Brown of Rock:

A special thank you to all who made the Upper Peninsula Honor Flight, Mission 24 possible in September.

Despite difficulties and challenges due to weather conditions requiring rescheduling and adjustments, all those involved with the Honor Flight did everything they could possibly do to make the trip to Washington D.C. happen for us. Words cannot properly express our gratitude and appreciation for the dedicate people involved in putting together this incredible experience.

Much appreciated to people of our communities who showed up to send us off and to welcome us home.

Thank you to the many adults and children who wrote the beautiful and touching messages in cards and letters for the veterans.

I know I speak for many fellow veterans in saying that the love and support shown to us will not be forgotten.

I, and my guardian, Mike Lepisto, were honored to be a part of such a memorable experience, thanks to the hard work, planning and thoughtfulness of so many.
