Loretta B. Skrobiak

Loretta B. Skrobiak “Grandma Lo”, 99, of Bark River, passed away peacefully Friday morning, April 17, 2026 at Bishop Noa Home with family at her side. Among survivors include her children, Paul (Joan) Skrobiak, Mark (Laurie) Skrobiak, Emily (Mark) Kleiman, and Laura (Kevin) Shank. Visitation will be on Friday, April 24th from 1:00 pm – 3:00 p.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Bark River. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 3:00 pm. A complete obituary will be forthcoming. The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family.

William Clifford Christie

William Clifford Christie, 83, recently passed away in Gladstone, Michigan. Bill was born in Gladstone and lived in Illinois and the West Coast before moving back to the Upper Peninsula. He is survived by his wife, his two children, and his faithful dog, Myrna. He will be deeply missed by his youngest son and all who knew him.

GLADSTONE - Jerry “Pug” E. Doucette, age 88 of Gladstone passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, April 8, 2026 at his home. Visiting hours to celebrate Pug’s life will be on Saturday, April 18, 2026 from 3 until 5:30 PM at the Gladstone American Legion. A service will begin at 5:30 PM and a meal will follow at 6:00 PM.
