Nancy Marie Bozenda
ORLAND PARK, Ill. – Nancy Marie Bozenda (née Crawford), age 70, of Orland Park, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, surrounded by the love that she so freely gave throughout her life.
Nancy was the cherished daughter of Donald (Rosalee) Crawford and the late Carmen Crawford. She was the devoted and loving wife of Wayne, whose partnership and companionship were a steady source of strength and joy in her life.
She was a proud and dedicated mother to Jerry (Kathy) Bozenda, Sarah (Chris) Albin, and Matt Bozenda. Her greatest joy and proudest accomplishments were found in watching her children grow, build lives of their own, and raise families filled with love. Nancy’s heart expanded even more with the arrival of her treasured grandchildren: Owen, Emily, and Alexis Bozenda; and Lea, Topher, Ethan, and Molly Albin. Nothing brought her more happiness than witnessing her children and grandchildren grow, laugh, and embrace life.
Nancy was a dear sister to James (Mary Kay) Crawford, Julie (Mike) Samuelson, Daniel Crawford, David (Kim) Crawford, Mary (Robert) Manson, and Patricia Crawford, and the late Michael Crawford. She shared with them a lifetime of memories, laughter, and enduring family bonds.
Family was the center of Nancy’s world. She loved deeply and lived fully, filling every room with warmth, kindness, and her unmistakable laugh. Whether she was quilting a handmade treasure, working on a puzzle at the kitchen table, reading a good book, traveling to new places, or spending peaceful quiet moments at camp, Nancy embraced life’s simple joys. Her happiest times were those spent gathered with family, sharing stories and making memories.
Music was always part of her spirit — she could often be found enjoying her favorite songs by Supertramp and Aerosmith, the soundtrack to many joyful moments in her life.
Above all else, Nancy loved her family. She lived her life with abundant love, and countless laughs. Her legacy is one of devotion, generosity, and a heart that made everyone feel welcome and cherished.
