LAS VEGAS, NV – Jennifer Lyn Martin, 40, of Las Vegas, Nevada, passed away on December 12, 2025 from esophageal cancer. Born in Marquette on November 17, 1985, Jen graduated from Menominee High School in 2004. Jen lived in many places – Hawaii, Florida and California – but she was a true Yooper at heart. Her passion for cooking led her to spend many seasons working as a chef on her beloved Isle Royale. Jen was a friend to everyone she met, a loving aunt, and a champion of the underdog. She lived and loved fiercely and was never afraid to be herself, always guided by her deep sense of what was authentic. She is survived by her mother, Ann Bosilovatz Martin, father Robert Martin (Natalie), sister Molly (Ian), nieces Charlie and Emilia Hazen, and fiancé Greg Styer. A celebration of life will be held in June 2026 in Marquette. Details to be announced.
