Sheree Ann Annear
Sheree Ann Annear, age 69, of Escanaba passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at her home in Escanaba. She was born September 6, 1956 in Escanaba and was the daughter of Jack and Delores “Sis” (Sparapani) Annear. Sheree graduated from Escanaba High School in 1974 and then moved to Houston, TX and was employed with Ebasco Engineering Company for twelve years. She moved back to Escanaba and attended and graduated from Bay de Noc Community College as a Registered Nurse. Sheree was employed for many years with OSF St. Francis Hospital, later with Christian Park Health Care Center and then with Home Health and Hospice until her retirement.
Sheree was a member of the Delta County Women’s Softball Association, Delta Women’s Pool League, enjoyed playing softball, golfing, playing pool, and roller blading. She fostered many dogs and was a member of Searching for Stella, a program searching for lost dogs. Sheree had a true love for animals especially for dogs.
Sheree is survived by son Ryan Annear (Katie Argall) of Escanaba, grandson Kash Annear, sisters Denise Boyle of Bark River and Lisa (Russ) Ponzio of Escanaba and nieces Traci Ward and Michelle Morey; nephews Jack Boyle and Shawn Boyle.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 pm to 3:45 pm Monday, October 6, 2025 at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. U.P. Nurses Honor Guard services will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services celebrating the life of Sheree Ann Annear to follow at 4:00 pm with Father Timothy Furguson from St. Joseph and St. Patrick Catholic Church officiating.
