Michael G. Mattila

Michael was born December 13,1944, in Escanaba, the son of George Mattila and Veronica Huff. He worked at Harnischfeger, Cloverland, and Northern Rebuilders. Michael enjoyed hunting and had a love for nature. He was united in marriage to Deloris Belongia on July 21, 1973.

Michael is survived by his wife Deloris Mattila; daughter Kari Mattila MacLean; step children Carmen Lehtola, George Peterson, Mary Johnson, Wanda Laufer; 6 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

Michael is preceded in death by parents.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Mattila family.
