Raymond J. ‘Ray’ Motto
BARK RIVER — Raymond J. “Ray” Motto, 74, of Bark River, passed away on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at UP Heath System – Marquette.
He was born on September 30, 1947, in Nadeau, the son of Tony and Alice (Skyja) Motto. Ray was a lifelong resident of Bark River and graduated from Bark River-Harris High School in 1966.
Ray worked for the Bark River-Harris School systems in the maintenance department for 34 years, until his retirement in 2012. He also did maintenance for the Bark River Senior Center.
He enjoyed attending sporting events and going to concerts at the casino.
Ray is survived by his wife, Grace Motto of Green Bay; siblings, Carol Hay of Escanaba, Hazel Diviak of Oregon, and Irene Perez of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Ken Motto and Jim Motto.
In keeping with Ray’s wishes, no services will be held.
