Donna Ann Seguin
WELLS — Donna Ann Seguin, 86, of Wells, passed away June 25, 2022, in Bay City, Mich. She was born to the late Leonard and Anne Fillis, July 21, 1935, in Escanaba, Mich. Donna graduated from Escanaba High School in 1953.
She married the late Roger Seguin in 1954, and they celebrated 38 years of marriage until his death in 1993.
Donna is survived by two children, Roger (Kay) Seguin, of Escanaba; and Renee (Tammy Mortensen) Seguin, of Bay City. She was also the loving “Gran” to Andy Seguin, Lori (Alex Bertolini) Seguin, Nicklas and Brendan Mortensen-Seguin, Heather Kleiman, Mike (Stephanie) Kleiman, Taylor and Lindsey Thompson and four great-grandchildren. She was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews.
Donna was a devout Catholic who began singing in the church choir as a child and only ceased when her health declined. She never met a dog that she didn’t want to pet or a child that she didn’t want to play with. She loved sports, especially the Detroit Tigers, the Chicago Cubs and Notre Dame football; daily walks, gardening, reading, baking and playing with her grandchildren. Her guilty pleasure was watching movies on the Hallmark channel, repeatedly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m. with Rev. Rick Courier officiating.
Burial will take place in Gardens of Rest Memorial Park.
