Christine A. Weber

She was born on June 5, 1958 in Flint, the daughter of Elmer J. and Eileen M. (Ellis) Martin. At a young age, Christine’s family moved to Manistique. She was raised there and graduated from Manistique High School in 1976.

On October 24, 1987, Christine married Steven J. Weber in Escanaba. She worked for OSF St. Francis Hospital for 38 years in central supply and then in the rehab department as a rehab technician.

She was an outdoors enthusiast who liked kayaking, camping, gardening, and working in her yard. She enjoyed traveling, singing, dancing, and was a great cook. Christine adored her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church in Escanaba and sang in the church’s choir.

Christine is survived by her mother, Eileen Martin; husband, Steve; children, Steven (Nicole) Weber of Escanaba, Joshua Weber of Escanaba, and James (Christina) Weber of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; grandchildren, Peyton, Austin, Kane, Ezra, Braxen, Karsen, Mia, and Ryland; siblings, Sue (Art) Messer, Karla (Jeff) Mattlin, Richard Martin (Ann Londo), Pam (Mike) Miles, and Doug (Becki) Martin; in-laws, Patrick (Carole) Weber and John (Rose) Weber; special cousin, Nancy (Kevin) Kounelis; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her father; mother-in-law, Sharon Weber; and brothers-in-law, Joseph Weber and Jeffrey Weber.
