Vivian Elizabeth Ray

CARNEY — Vivian Elizabeth Ray, 60, of Carney, Mich. passed away at home with her family by her side after a 6 month battle with cancer on Thursday, September 16, 2021.

She was born June 30, 1961 in Manistique, Mich. to the late Eugene and Vivian (Gonder) Joslin. Vivian graduated from Manistique High School Class of 1979.

On April 28, 1984, she married Dale Ray at the Carney Evangelical Free Church.

Vivian enjoyed scrap booking, doing crafts, baking and cake decorating, going camping and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Vivian enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and looked forward to attending their many events.

Vivian is survived by her husband, Dale of Carney, Mich.; daughter, Heather (Jason) Mileski of Escanaba, Mich.; son, Kyle Ray of Carney, Mich.; four grandchildren, Mason Ray, Marica, Malayna and Mitch Mileski; three siblings, Orville Joslin, Letitia (Garth) LaVigne and Janelle (Steve) Neville; sister-in-law, Debbie (Paul) Kietzman; and many nieces and nephews.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Mandi Jane Mileski, and her brother Eugene Joslin Jr.; father and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Beatrice (Smith) Ray.

Visitation for Vivian will be on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Anderson-Diehm Funeral Home beginning at 9 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. with Pastor Bob Donaldson officiating. Burial will be in Carney Free Cemetery.
