Geraldine M. Bellmore

HERMANSVILLE — Geraldine M. Bellmore, 95, of Hermansville, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2020, at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility in Powers. She was born on Aug. 29, 1924, in Carney, Mich., daughter of the late Marcell and Mary (Dray) Charlier. On Sept. 24, 1949, she married the late Willard Bellmore at St. Bruno’s Church in Nadeau.

Geraldine lived most of her life in Hermansville where she raised seven children. She worked at Pinecrest for many years and loved crocheting, knitting and making quilts.

Geraldine is survived by six children, Raymond (Marilyn) Charlier, Rose (Terry) Trudell, Joseph (Dianne) Bellmore, Theresa (Bruce) Strauss, Larry (Jalaine) Bellmore and Dick (Sharon) Bellmore; three sisters, Angeline, Elizabeth and Marylene; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, seven great great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly; sisters-in-law, Shirley, Barbara and Mary, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Thomas Bellmore; five brothers, Orville, Roland, Reubin, Lawrence and Douglas; and two sisters, Anne and Audrey.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. CST on Wednesday, March 18, at St. John Neumann Church in Spalding. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 4 p.m. CST on Wednesday at church with Fr. Jacek Wtyklo officiating. Due to the recent health regulations, there will not be a luncheon. She will be laid to rest in the Meyer Township Cemetery in the spring.
