James R. ‘Jim’ Gascon
ESCANABA — James R. “Jim” Gascon, 85, of Escanaba, passed away early Thursday morning, Nov. 21, 2019, at Christian Park Health Care Center with family at his side.
Among survivors are his wife, Clara “Cookie” Gascon of Escanaba.
Visitation is Tuesday, Nov. 26, at 2 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba. Visiting hours conclude at 4:15 p.m. when the Delta County Veterans Council and U.P. Military Honor Guard team have military honors. Mass of Christian Burial follows at 5:30 p.m. at All Saints Catholic Church in Gladstone with Rev. Jamie Ziminski officiating. A meal will be served in the church hall. Burial will take place in the spring at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Schaffer.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed to the family and a memorial will be established at the later date. A complete obituary will be forthcoming. The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Gascon family.
