Traffic stop leads to meth arrest

ESCANABA — A Wisconsin man was arraigned in Delta County District Court on meth charges Wednesday.

Jason Anthony Myers, 25, of Menasha, Wis. was charged with one count of controlled substance – possession of meth/ecstasy – second offense, a 40-year felony with a maximum fine of $30,000.

He was arrested after a Delta County Sheriff’s deputy pulled Myers over for a traffic violation in Ford River Township Tuesday night. During the traffic stop, deputies discovered meth and items used for the distribution of meth.

Myers was arrested and lodged at the Delta County Correctional Facility.
