Loretta C. Iverson
ESCANABA — Loretta C. Iverson, 91, of Escanaba, passed away Thursday, March 8, 2018, at Christian Park Healthcare Center in Escanaba. She was born April 12, 1926, in Flat Rock, the daughter of John and Clara (Desotelle) LaFave. T
he former Loretta LaFave married Monrad Iverson on July 3, 1945, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 17, 2007. Together, the couple shared 62 years of marriage. Loretta worked in the logging camps when she was younger and later worked as a waitress for many years in the Powers area.
Loretta C. Iverson is survived by: daughter, Salle (Todd) Grondine of Hermansville; three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, May 18, at Limestone Cemetery with Pastor Ted Joles officiating.
Burial will take place in the Limestone Township Cemetery.
