ESCANABA — Marilyn Louise Houle, March 29, 1936, to March 17, 2018. Age 81. Beloved wife of James Houle for 62 years. Dear mother of Cindy Nicholaou (Timo), Patricia Swain (Robbie) and Daniel Houle. Proud grandmother of Eleni (Kris), Alexandra (Nick), Elisa, Lucas and Kelsey.
Marilyn was born in Escanaba, Mich., on March 29, 1936, and graduated from Escanaba High School. Marilyn exuded a combination of warmth, kindness, laughter and love. Memories are a gift to treasure, and ours of Marilyn will last forever.
Marilyn passed away in her sleep on March 17, 2018, just shy of her 82 birthday, with her family and beloved husband of 62 years, James Houle, by her side. Marilyn will be loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
An intimate family memorial burial service will be held at a later date.
