ESCANABA — After the property and building on the site was transferred from Anders Company to TMart just shy of two weeks ago, demolition of the strip mall that had been known as Lincoln Square commenced Monday.

The new owners aim to build a new, 2,400-square-foot structure that will house Baskin-Robbins and Dunkin’, plus a drive-through and patio.

Details on Wisconsin-based TMart, the building’s past and the recent sale appear in a Daily Press article published on May 7 with the headline “Lincoln Road’s future Dunkin’ owned by Wisconsin franchise group.”

The most recent tenants of the strip mall were given ample notice and have found new homes, as discussed in the April 9 piece entitled “Lincoln Square businesses finding new homes.”

The property in question is at the southwest corner of the intersection of Lincoln Road (also U.S. 2 and 41 and M-35) and First Avenue North in Escanaba.

Starting at $4.00/week.
