ESCANABA – Emergency responders were dispatched to the House of Ludington Bar & Restaurant for a fire. Flames can be seen coming from the roof as of 11:20 a.m.

EPSD, UP Health System, Ford River Fire Department and the City of Escanaba Electric Department all responded to the scene.

The smell of smoke was reported at about 10:30 a.m. Friday.

Roads are blocked off, and people are advised to avoid the area. More information is to come.
