Area communities, churches and organizations are preparing for Halloween activities, with some events already taking place this weekend.

Some dates and times are listed here for various trick-or-treats and trunk-or-treats in the region, plus a handful of other Halloween events. As some communities have yet to release trick-or-treat times, the list is not complete. Organizers of additional events are encouraged to contact the Daily Press to be added.

SATURDAY
