Gladstone Farmers Market also features music

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Farmers Market, a venue primarily for small businesses and local crafters and bakers to reach the public outdoors, also features musical acts on a small stage next to the vendors.

This summer is teeming with live music in the bay area, but this venue offers something different. Rather than being the main focus, the local musicians are another slice of community personality that add to the environment of the farmers market, which springs to life at 907 Delta Avenue from 3 to 6 p.m. on Mondays all the way from June through September.

Shoppers and visitors to the market may experience a rotation of performers at the small stage next to Wild Bill’s Tobacco. Here’s what’s on the docket for the rest of the year:

Cory and Chasey Williams, a folk-rock family duo who played this week, will be back August 25.

The Make-Believe Spurs, an alt-folk band based in Marquette, are scheduled to perform on June 30, July 28, and Aug. 11.

Reflections, who say they play multiple genres from the ’60s to present, will jam on July 7, Aug. 4 and Sept. 15.

On July 14, Aug. 18 and Sept. 22, George Sailer — a classic rock and country aficionado — will occupy the market stage.

Jack Neumann, another local musician scheduled to perform elsewhere in the county this summer, will play the Gladstone farmers market on July 21 and Sept. 8.

Wingin’ It Lite, an abbreviated cast made up of the two original band members of the now four-person Wingin’ It, will reclaim the stage on Sept. 29 for the final farmers market of 2025.

Starting at $3.50/week.
