Members of the community took time Saturday to honor the U.S flag during a ceremony at the Marketplace in downtown Escanaba. Saturday was Flag Day and the ceremony, which is held annually, is sponsored by the Escanaba Elks Lodge. Above, a veteran salutes the flag while the National Anthem is being played.
