Gladstone library gets new books through grant
Courtesy photo The Gladstone School and Public Library was recently awarded $1,000 through a “Myths, Legends, and Folklore” grant from the Community Foundation for Delta County and its Youth Advisory Committee. The funds were used to purchase complete updated sets of Norse and Greek mythology books, “Xtreme Screams,” “Hollywood Monsters,” “Haunted History of the United States,” “Science Fact or Science Fiction?,” and “Crimes in Time” for the elementary and young adult level. James T. Jones students from Mrs. Sholten’s fifth grade class are pictured with the new selection of books.
