ESCANABA — The Delta County Historical Society will hold an open house at the Sand Point Lighthouse after Christmas. The public is invited to enjoy an old fashioned Christmas celebration at the lighthouse on Tuesday, Dec. 26 and Wednesday, Dec. 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. each day.

The open house is an annual holiday event. Guests are invited to enjoy cookies and hot beverages in the lighthouse and to tour the Delta County Historial Society Beaumier Museum.

The free event is sponsored by the Delta County Historical Society as a thank you to the community for its support of the society’s mission to preserve Delta County history.
