ESCANABA — On Sunday, September 18, the Delta County Century Ride will be held with nearly 200 bicycle riders traveling Delta County roads throughout the day. Motorists are asked to use extra caution during the event.

The route will begin near the Gladstone Sports Park on M-35 at 8 a.m.

Riders will be in the vicinity of the West Gladstone Bridge and the Days River area, near the Gladstone High School and Flat Rock. The route includes various county roads between Flat Rock and Schaffer and ends at the Gladstone Sports Park in the early afternoon.

Motorists are asked to slow down and give bicyclists enough room to ride.
