Rapid River Relic Ride returns this weekend

RAPID RIVER — The Rapid River Relic Ride is returning Friday and Saturday in Rapid River. The event starts at 9:30 a.m. Friday, featuring Yamaha on Main Street Rapid River. The two-day event is presented by the Rapid River Relic Riders.
Registration is from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, with snowmobilers departing at noon from Quality Plumbing, 7986 US-2, Rapid River, across from Sall Mar Resort on US-2.
Riders are asked to bring a non-perishable food item or cash donation for local food pantries. No trail permit is required for sleds 25 years or older. There will be a bonfire after the ride at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Saturday will feature the event’s Show & Swap. Registration is from 9 a.m. to noon inside the Lions Club, 10465 S Main St, Rapid River. There is a sled registration fee – free swap site.
Trophies will be awarded at 3:30 p.m. with can raffle drawings to follow. The raffle ticket grand prize is a 1973 Yamaha GP338.
Food and drinks will be available.
