Reaching new heights

Mid Peninsula Elementary School celebrated the first week of May by giving devices the “boot!” (Off not on!). The students were challenged to stay off all devices, to get outside more, and to read. The kids met their goal and read over 250 books. In response, Eric VanDamme, the school principal, got up on the school roof dressed as a hot dog and shouted,“I love hot dogs, and I love reading” to mark students achieving their goal.
