ESCANABA — The Delta County Chamber of Commerce will hold its Roaring 20s Fundraising Gala May 22 at the Island Resort and Casino in celebration of the chamber’s 100th birthday.

The event, formerly known as the Fire & Ice Midwinter Fundraising Gala, typically held in February, will transport guests to the flapper era while offering many of the favorites activities of Fire & Ice. The Chamber welcomes the community to an evening of fine dining, live auctions, instant prizes, and live music from the ever-popular band Passion.

Guests can walk away with several prizes donated by Delta County Chamber business members. “This will be the first event of the 2021 centennial celebration and what better way than to revisit the era in which the Delta County Chamber of Commerce first began,” chamber officials said. “The Chamber has enjoyed supporting businesses, economic development, and our beautiful area for 100 years. The community’s ongoing support ensures that the Chamber can continue to promote initiatives that make Delta County a better place to live and conduct business.”
