Escanaba Public Safety officers were called to a report of a fire on the roof of Hardees restaurant in Escanaba about 2 p.m. Thursday. There were no flames or smoke visible shortly after the fire call, but officers searched the building to find the problem that prompted the initial call. Further information was unavailable at press time.
