PETOSKEY, Mich. – Six area residents have earned bachelor’s degrees from Lake Superior State University (LSSU). Graduates achieved their degrees through LSSU's Escanaba/Iron Mountain Regional Center which offers baccalaureate degree programs for students on Bay College campuses. DNR needs volunteers to mentor youth in outdoor recreation activities at UP State Fair

ESCANABA — The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is seeking local volunteers and community organizations to serve as mentors at the DNR Pocket Park during the upcoming Upper Peninsula State Fair, scheduled for Aug. 17-23.
