Celebrating the community at chamber’s Woods & Water dinner

Minding Our Own Business

As another eventful year comes to a close, the Delta County Chamber of Commerce invites you to join us for an evening that celebrates the very best of our community.

On Thursday, Oct. 9, we will gather for our annual dinner at the Island Resort & Casino, where the culinary team will prepare a delicious dinner worthy of this special occasion.

This year’s theme, “Woods & Water,” reflects the natural beauty that surrounds us and the many accomplishments that have taken place both on land and along our freshwater shoreline.

From successful community events to business growth and meaningful milestones of our partners, the past year has been filled with reasons to celebrate.

Our awards will highlight outstanding businesses, organizations, and individuals whose leadership and dedication mirror the strength of our forests and the energy of our waters. Even the awards themselves carry this theme, featuring a wood base for strength and an inscribed surface reminiscent of a cascading waterfall.

The evening will also mark the graduation of the Delta Force Class of 2025, recognizing the next generation of community leaders who are prepared to make their mark on Delta County.

We also gratefully acknowledge our presenting sponsors, OSF HealthCare, Island Resort & Casino, and Upper Peninsula Michigan Works! and all the awards and event sponsors whose support makes this celebration possible.

More than an awards ceremony, this event is an opportunity to enjoy exceptional food, connect with friends and chamber members, and share in the pride of what we’ve achieved together. Members of the chamber Board of Directors will be on hand to celebrate with our award recipients, Delta Force graduates and community guests as we honor those who love where they live — Delta County.

We invite the community to be part of this special night. Mark your calendar for Thursday, Oct. 9, and join us at the Island Resort & Casino’s new convention center to celebrate the spirit of Delta County — where the roots of the forest meet the currents of the bay, and where community always comes first.

Starting at $3.50/week.
