Community Foundation for Delta County President/CEO Cheryl Andzejewski presents a check for $2,658.18 to the Escanaba Society of St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry Vice President Escanaba District Mr. Tom Gibbons from the Robert & Anne Schmit Endowed Fund held by the Community Foundation for Delta County, an affiliate of the Community Foundation of the Upper Peninsula. Andzejewski commented, “On behalf of the Community Foundation for Delta County Board of Trustees we are honored to be able to provide annual funds to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry from the philanthropic wishes of Mr. Robert and Mrs. Anne Schmit.” “The annual gift we receive from the Robert & Anne Schmit Endowed Fund, as well as support from the Community Foundation for Delta County and other donors, is critical to the success of the Food Pantry and helping those in need of food,” commented Gibbons.
