Bay College presents Phil Lynch performance

ESCANABA — Bay College will host an evening with singer/songwriter Phil Lynch, performing his show, “Songs to Bring Us Together.” The performance is Thursday, September 19 at 7 p.m. in the Besse Theater on the Escanaba Campus.

Known for his joyful mix of life-affirming songs and stories, Lynch’s musical style blends the warmth of James Taylor with the storytelling of Randy Newman. “Songs to Bring Us Together” will feature a selection of Lynch’s original songs, including “Listen First” and “Here is the Love,” as well as classic cover songs from the ’60s and ’70s that celebrate togetherness and human connections, such as “Lean on Me,” “You’ve Got A Friend,” and “All You Need Is Love.” Audience participation is highly encouraged for a truly interactive experience.
