Line 5 clarifcation
ESCANABA — A business profile published on Monday, March 11 made mention to concerns around the Line 5 pipeline and spills. To clarify, the pipeline, which is owned and operated by Canadian company Enbridge, runs from Superior, Wis., to Sarnia, Ontario by way of Michigan, including at the bottom of the Straits of Mackinac. While in the past leaks have been found on land, no spills have ever been reported in the Straits.
