Three students awarded Dagenais Memorial Scholarship

ESCANABA — The Robert Dagenais Memorial Scholarship, sponsored by the Robert and Jeanine Dagenais Foundation, has awarded three students for their academic achievements and future goals. The scholarship is open to children or grandchildren of employees of Riverside Auto Group or First Bank.

The winners of the 2023 scholarship are:

– Kaitlyn Demuse, who graduated from Gladstone Area High School and plans to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering at Michigan Teach University. She is the daughter of Jennifer and Donald Demeuse.

– Trent Lawson, who graduated from Escanaba Area Public School and plans to pursue a degree in Criminal Justice at Saginaw Valley State University. He is the son of James and Deanna Lawson.

– Kassidy LaBay, who graduated from Bark River- Harris High School and plans to pursue a degree in psychology at Northern Michigan University. She is the daughter of Angie and Brad Labay.

The Robert and Jeanine Dagenais Foundation congratulates the winners and wishes them all the best in their future endeavors.
