YMCA youth indoor soccer program set
ESCANABA — The YMCA Youth Indoor Soccer program is scheduled to begin Saturday, March 28. This program allows kids ages 4-8 to learn the fundamentals of the sport, while helping those familiar with the sport to enhance their skills. New this year will be additional classes to help make smaller class size, which means more opportunity for learning. Program will be held at the Hannahville Ice and Turf Complex.
“Indoor soccer is a great chance for the kids to learn the fundamentals and fall in love with the game. Holding this program at the Hannahville Ice and Turf Complex is a luxury since we don’t have to deal with the unpredictable weather.” said Boston Hood, YMCA’s youth sports coordinator.
Space is limited. Registration for the program is available at the YMCA, online at www.nlymca.com or by phone. There is a fee to take part. All players receive a Y t-shirt.
