ESCANABA — The Escanaba Public Library welcomes Escanaba native Judy Lindsey and Barbara Robidoux of New Hampshire to the library on June 13 at 6:30 p.m. for a program on the Camino de Santiago trail. The Camino de Santiago, also known as The Way, is a 500-mile long trail in Spain that winds through old Roman roads and trade routes. Thousands walk this path every year searching for enlightenment, physical challenge, and personal growth. The women are two modern day pilgrims who recently returned from walking the Camino de Santiago and will be sharing their experiences as they walked along The Way. They will be sharing photos, pilgrim passports, and other interesting items during the talk.

Lindsey has recently retired as a K-8 educator specializing in developing and implementing Enrichment and Challenge Programs. She is active on her local planning board, conservation commission, and church. Robidoux is a retired teacher and reading specialist of 35 years who is an avid reader and runner.

Camino de Santiago: Walk with Us Along The Way is a free event and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Friends of the Escanaba Public Library.
