ESCANABA — The Youth Advisory Committee (YAC) of the Community Foundation for Delta County announced the recipients of its April 2019 grants round. The following organizations receiving grants are 906 Adventure Team- Delta County Program; Bark River Baseball Booster Club- Field and Equipment Upgrades; Delta Animal Shelter-Kids Who Care Fridays; Delta County College Access Network (DCCAN)-Post High School Planning Opportunities; Escanaba Business Professionals of America-National Leadership Conference; Escanaba Library Lego Club-Education, Imagination, Sharing and Building; Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes, Inc.-Girl Scouts Family Partnership; Northern Lights-YMCA-Strong Kids Campaign; Superior String Alliance, Inc.-Scholarships for Delta County Kids for SSA Music Camp; Welcome Newborns Program – Child Abuse Prevention and Safe Sleep Project; Webster Kindergarten Center-Laminator; and William Bonifas Fine Arts Center-Escanaba Summer Music Camp.

Youth Advisory Committee Co-Chairs Jenna Rubick and Savannah Stein said the next grand round will open on Friday, Aug. 30, and all grant requests and requirements must be received by 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1 in order to be considered.
