Students part of bridge competition

Franklin Thibault, Sam Jensen, and Marshall Wilson qualified to compete in the MDOT bridge competition. The competition was held in Grand Rapids at the Amway Grand. Students had to test their Tied Arch Bowstring bridges and present their projects to a panel of civil engineers. As part of the contest, students had to learn a CAD program called Bentley Microstation to draw their bridge.
