Cody gets promotion at mBank

MANISTIQUE — mBank announces the promotion of Assistant Vice President Marketing Officer Bethany Cody to vice president marketing manager. Cody joined the mBank team in 2014 as the bank’s marketing officer. Prior to mBank, she spent 15 years in real estate development where she gained valuable experience in project management, vendor management, and strategic business development which she has applied internally overseeing several large capex projects for the bank as well. In her new role as vice president marketing manager, she will oversee the day?to?day operations of the Marketing Department and play an integral role in determining overall strategic marketing directives and business line initiatives for mBank.

“Over the past six years, Bethany has displayed dedication and leadership in her role with the marketing team. She is a true Brand Ambassador for mBank who emboldens all aspects of our community bank mission and culture. I am very confident in her abilities to lead the bank marketing team successfully and we are extremely proud to award her with this promotion,” said Sherry Arnold, mBank senior vice president administration and talent director.

Cody is native to Negaunee and holds a bachelor’s degree from Northern Michigan University. During her career with mBank, she earned a diploma from the American Bankers Association School of Bank Marketing and Management and has served on the Michigan Bankers Association Marketing Committee since 2015 where she currently serves as chair.

In addition to her responsibilities with mBank, Cody has served the community through volunteering with the Marquette Alzheimer’s Association, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Marquette Bowl for Kids’ Sake, and the Superior Health Foundation Gala Committee.
