Four Seasons Resort to hold grand opening

PEMBINE, Wis. — With new ownership in place, an iconic Wisconsin resort is set to host its grand re-opening on Saturday, June 8, after being closed for several years. Festivities commence at 11 a.m.

The Four Seasons Island Resort in Pembine, Wis., is now owned by a group with extensive experience in the Midwest repositioning real estate assets, the most recent being the Bancroft Luxury Apartment redevelopment in Saginaw, Mich., which was the catalyst for over $50 million in new and future investment.

The resort has undergone some immediate repairs and renovations inside and out. In addition, there will be new menus, three dining options to include fine dining in the Diamond Room, casual dining in the Plaza Room and Boundary Waters Sports Bar & Grill. Boundary Waters Sports Bar & Grill is also featuring Boundary Waters Party Deck with live music.

The resort has a full day of activities planned which includes complimentary tours, giveaways and specials.

The resort offers state of the art meeting and wedding facilities, all on display for the grand opening.

The nine-hole golf course will also be open. The resort will also be offering free pontoon rides.

The resort is located on Miscauno Island in Pembine, 30 minutes from Iron Mountain.

“We are extremely excited about our grand opening on June 8 to show everyone that we can offer one of the best possible recreational experiences in the Midwest,” said Jake Cline, general manager. “New ownership remains committed to maintaining a family friendly resort destination that can remain affordable while delivering a quality experience. We’d like to sincerely thank the citizens of Pembine and the surrounding communities who have supported this resort for many years. We are fully committed to working diligently to make much needed improvements while respecting the long and amazing history of this incredible resort.”
