ESCANABA — The Escanaba P.E.O. Chapter EE recently celebrated its 45th anniversary. P.E.O., an international women’s organization, provides educational opportunities for women. Chapter EE, with 35 members, meets monthly to discuss fundraising strategies to support local scholarships, grants, awards, and loans that empower women to enhance their lives through learning.

A celebratory luncheon was held at the Escanaba Country Club, attended by many members who have relocated and representatives from the group’s sister chapter, Chapter Z, from Escanaba. Notably, three of the original 16 charter members, Cindy Bush, Ruthie Vinette and Cilla Green were present to mark this significant milestone.
