Daily Press file photo Some local participants in Civil War reenactments attended a YMCA Day Camp on July 14, 1998 to discuss their hobby with youth. A reenactment was held this weekend in 1998 at the Escanaba Municipal Dock and Ludington Park. About 75 to 100 men and women depicted civilian and military life around the Second Battle of Bull Run in 1862. Residents and Tourists delighted in watching the 2nd Wisconsin Infantry, Company E; the 4th U.S. Artillery, Battery B, and the 10th Tennessee Infantry reenacting the battle. Also joining in were the Regimental Volunteer Band of Wisconsin and the ladies Lamplighter Society.
