DAR to meet Sept. 14
L’ANSE — The Onagomingkway Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR), will hold its monthly meeting on Saturday, Sept.14 from noon until 3 p.m. EDT at 13294 Shore Dr., in L’Anse. The meal will be a potluck.

Alano Club birthday
GLADSTONE — The 41st birthday celebration of the Alano Club will be held Saturday, Sept. 14. The days activities begin at 3:41 p.m. Jim J. and Ann D. will share their respected stories at 4 p.m. Recently mailed surveys should be turned in. All friends of Dr. Bob and Bill W. are encouraged to attend.
Instead of a potluck, pizza will be delivered.

Craft show vendors
ROCK — Vendors and crafters are sought for a craft show at the Lions Club in Rock planned for Sept. 27 and 28. The show will take place between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.

Indian Ed meeting
ESCANABA — The Escanaba Schools Indian Education Title VI Parent Committee Meeting — open to all family members and interested persons — will be held Tuesday, Sept. 17 at 5:15 p.m. at the Upper Elementary Building. The meeting will be held in the second floor lounge.

Faith formation classes
ESCANABA — A new adult faith formation class called “Go, Make Disciples!” will begin Wednesday, Sept. 18 in the Holy Name Grade School commons area. The classes will be held from 6 to 7 p.m. and be taught by Mike Cousineau and Vicar of Evangelization Father Ryan Ford.
The class will discuss whether it is possible to “mis-live” a life and how one can know if they are “missing the mark” or “hitting the sweet spot” when it comes to heaven or hell.
