Genealogical Society to meet Monday at Bay

ESCANABA — The next meeting of the Delta County Genealogical Society is Monday July 22, at 5 p.m. in room 961 of the Joseph Heirman University Center Building at Bay College. Bring your stories, research problems, and other items to the meeting. The group is planning to update its indexes and needs input.

First UMC bake sale

ESCANABA — First United Methodist Church, 302 S 6th St., will be holding a bake sale on Saturday, Aug. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pies, cookies, bread and more will be available.

Residents of Harbor Tower receive a special discount.

Holy Name Class of ’69

ESCANABA — The Holy Name Class of ’69 will hold their 55th class reunion on Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Elks Club. The reunion will start at 5 p.m.

The cost is $10 at the door, which will include appetizers. There will be a cash bar.
