Mother’s Day breakfast

RAPID RIVER — Enjoy a meal with Mom on Mother’s Day at the 2nd Sunday “All-You-Can-Eat” Breakfast at the Rapid River Legion Post 301 Hall. The breakfast will be held Sunday, May 12, from 8 a.m. to noon. Children age 5 and under free eat free and children 6 to 12 eat at a reduced rate.

Families Against Narcotics to meet

ESCANABA — Do you or a loved one suffer from the disease of addiction? If you are looking for support, guidance, or just making connections with others who are struggling with addiction or its impact, you are welcome at Families Against Narcotics meetings.

The meetings are held and second Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Northern Lights YMCA building, located at 200 N. 30th St., in Escanaba.

Holy Name Class of 1964 reunion planned

GLADSTONE — The Gladstone Sons of American Legion #71 Squadron will meet May 8 at 6 p.m., for voting in new officers for 2024-25 year.

GLADSTONE — Free clothing of all sizes is available at the Memorial Methodist United Church in Gladstone. The clothes closet will have special hours during the church’s rummage sale. The hours are as follows: Thursday, May 2 from 2-7 p.m.; Friday, May 3 8:30 to 2 p.m.; Saturday, May 4 8:30 to 11 a.m.
