Bonifas-Ness recognized by Child Advocacy Center

Melissa Bonifas-Nes

ESCANABA — The Daily Press will be featuring board members, staff and those that assist the Delta Regional Child Advocacy Center as part of Child Abuse Prevention Month. Today’s featured individual is Melissa Bonifas-Ness, who is a noted advocate for children.

“The Child Advocacy Center is important because we owe child victims a safe place to be heard, fair and competent representation, and the support needed to heal. The Child Advocacy Center coordinates the resources needed for positive outcomes for these children,” said Bonifas-Ness.

Melissa’s commitment to providing a voice for the voiceless drives the mission of the Child Advocacy Center forward. The Center thanks her for her passion.
