Ecumenical service of thanksgiving

ESCANABA — An ecumenical service of thanksgiving will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 21 at 6 p.m. at Central United Methodist Church, located at 322 S. Lincoln Rd. in Escanaba.

The worship service is open to all and a free-will offering taken during the service will provide meals for the Community Thanksgiving Day Dinner, held in the Escanaba High School commons area.

Churches participating in the service include Bethany Lutheran, Bark River United Methodist, Central United Methodist, Faith Lutheran, Rock, First United Methodist, First Presbyterian, and Immanuel Lutheran.

There will be refreshments and fellowship after the service.
